NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION

Neurological conditions affect the brain and spinal cord and often result in a number of symptoms that affect your movement, balance, coordination and functional ability.  Symptoms can include tight muscles, weakness, tremors or spasms, altered sensation, impaired walking and balance.

A Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist can complete a detailed assessment at home reviewing areas that are of particular concern to you.  A neurological rehabilitation plan will aim to promote neurological recovery or slow progressive conditions and manage symptoms, helping you to maintain or regain functional independence.

If moving around your home or walking is becoming more difficult or you are worried about falling physiotherapy can help.

 

A specialist physiotherapist can complete a detailed assessment at home reviewing areas that are of particular concern to you including functional activities, muscle strength, joint range of movement, gait, balance and pain.  An individualised treatment plan can help you build your strength and balance, improve your walking pattern, reduce pain and increase confidence.

BEFORE OR AFTER SURGERY
